The first Scotch Malt Whisky Society, The Vaults, was situated in Leith and it now stands as one of Scotland’s oldest commercial buildings. It gives like-minded whisky individuals a place to connect and the opportunity to discover the world’s widest collection of single cask whiskies. It is accessible by the wider public as well as members allowing all the chance to taste whisky straight from the cask, alongside experience whiskies that are no longer in production as a result of casks from ‘silent’ distilleries.
