This week is the launch of the early bird tickets for next years original Fife Whisky Festival, held in Cupar - they go on sale tomorrow at 11am (Saturday 1st September).
To build up a llittle bit of excitement about 2019's event Justine of Fife Whisky Festival arranged a twitter tasting for Wednesday night. The 30 influencers who took part (incuding Angels' Share Glass ®) were mailed a parcel earlier in the week with four mystery drams, simply labelled 1 thru 4.
The format of the twitter tasting saw us all nosing and tasting all four drams in turn, tweeting our notes and commenting on our peers notes. After each dram Justine would reveal the Whisky, it was clear after dram two that there was a distinct theme of Fife flowing thru the drams.
The drams were:
- Lost Distillery Stratheden
- Eden Mill 3yr Oloroso Cask (Hip Flask Series Number 6)
- Daftmill 2006
- Wemyss Malts Chimney Smoke
