Every year on March 17, the Irish around the world, celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
St Patrick is said to have brought Christianity into Ireland in the 5th century and while the day used to be observed as a religious occasion, over time it has become a fully fledged international celebration of all things Irish.
Amongst traditions like wearing green to become invisible to leprechauns that would otherwise pinch you, the shamrock and the special foods, the parades, dances and parties, we are pretty sure Irish whiskey has its place at any celebration.
The Shamrock Whiskey Water Dropper is adorned with a pewter shamrock crest. Do you need the luck 'O the Irish?
The TÚATH (tu – ah) – from the old Irish for family or nation, is a conical shaped nosing and tasting glass for whiskey that functions superbly by concentrating & capturing all the aromas and flavours that make Irish Whiskey unique.
The beautiful contemporary stem was inspired by the iconic Irish landmark of Skellig Michael.
Emmet & Karen Directors were also married on St Patrick's Day - Emmet is originally from Drogheda Ireland and so enjoys the celebration whilst in Scotland Here''s a poem from their wedding day:
